B&G Solid-Brass Bridge

The ABR-style bridge that is installed as standard on all Private Build guitars is available as a drop-in direct upgrade for the B&G Crossroads and of course, for any guitar fit with a similar bridge. The bridge's body is hand-milled from a solid brass billet, as well as the saddles. The bridge mass is higher by about 15g as compared to a standard Zama/Zinc bridge, ensuring less absorption of the string vibrations, therefore greatly increasing the guitar's sustain. The different resonance imparted by the brass also improves the response of the trebles, giving more “air” to the overall tone. Twang, note separation and touch dynamics step up as well.  It is the single most effective hardware upgrade for a B&G Crossroads Guitar, and we can’t think of any guitar that would not benefit from its adoption. It is available in three finish options: - Aged - unlacquered, allowing the brass to oxidize for a nice vintage patina.  24k Gold Plated - to preserve its original shine and Nickel Plated.
